Stang Standpipe Systems are essentially towers with water monitors mounted on the top. These systems are used to have the benefits of an elevated water spray yet keep the operator in a safe remote location. The structural vertical column is also the waterway and all monitor control systems are carried on the outside of the column. The freestanding systems are available up to 42' and the supported systems can go all the way to 150'.

Standpipe systems use either Electric, Hydraulic or Electro-Hydraulic monitor control systems. The standpipes are installed on top of a Stang supplied intake base which in turn is mounted on a customer engineered foundation. Water supply is piped into the intake base horizontally and from there it goes through a 90° elbow and travels vertical.

These systems are controlled from a control panel located in customer determined location. This panel communicates with a starter box which houses all the control circuits. The starter box then communicates with the monitors or HPU if it is a hydraulic system. The system is available with wireless control which will communicate with the control system.

Please contact Stang Sales for further information and or to discuss a future project.
