The
Fire-Force 11 is a trailer-mounted mobile monitor capable of nominally
delivering 10000 GPM (37,900 LPM) of water or foam solution. The
Fire- Force 11 has a discharge reach exceeding 500 ft (152 Meters
- under nominal flow conditions) when supplied with 160 psi (1100
kPa) at the trailer’s inlet.
Water
is supplied through a single 10" (254 mm) Multi-lug connection
located at the rear of the trailer. Optionally, the Multi-lug
connection can be replaced with other connection adaptors to match
the user’s hose type (Storz, groove, etc.). A 10" (254
mm) stainless steel waterway is integrated into the trailer body,
feeding the 8" (203 mm) stainless steel monitor. The monitor
has an uninterrupted 360° rotational range and has an elevation
range from -5° to 90°. The monitor is manually controlled
using handwheels for rotation and elevation. Optionally, the monitor
can be equipped with electric controls - either tethered or wireless.
The monitor also includes a pressure gauge to ensure sufficient
water supply pressure.
The
Fire-Force 11 is integrated into a standard over-the-road trailer.
The height-adjustable hitch can be either pintle-style or ball-style
to accommodate any standard towing vehicle. The trailer is equipped
with a standard US-DOT vehicle lighting package. Electric brakes
are provided to facilitate towing, and a runaway brake is included
to automatically stop the trailer in the event of vehicle separation.
Adjustable crank-style jacks are located on the tongue as well
as each outrigger. The outriggers are lowered during operation
and leveled with the jacks to provide proper stability.
The top working surface of the trailer is coated with a durable,
anti-slip coating to provide optimal operator safety.
The front section of the trailer is equipped with a covered, lockable
storage area for tools and equipment.
