Elevated Monitor Ordering Information

There are three families of Manual Elevated Monitors.

  • 103561 Series Freestanding ( unsupported ) up to 22'
  • 103377 Series Freestanding ( unsupported ) From 22' to 42'
  • 102999 Series Supported up to 150'

In each of these families you have three monitor sizes available. The 2.50" version is the dash 1 (-1) series aka BB series. The 3.00" is a dash 11 (-11) or C series. The 4.00" rounds out the set with dash 21 (-21) or D series. The last dash number is the height in feet in 1 foot increments. The height of an elevated monitor is measured from the bottom of the flange to the outlet @ horizontal. Please keep in mind the height of the intake base & foundation when determining the required height above grade.

--------------------------------------

While not mandatory, Stang does recommend the use of a normally closed gear operated butterfly valve at the inlet of the intake base and a normally open flanged gate valve prior. The gate valve allows for system maintance. See image here.

Some configurations are not available on elevated monitors. Jet reaction load calculations need to be reviewed prior to selecting proper equipment.
